\nGuten Abend Traders<\/strong>,
\n\"German\"\nder japanische Yen (JPY) gibt nach, wobei der Nikkei eher ein Risk-Off Verhalten zeigt. Dazu passt, dass der schweizer Franken sehr gefragt ist. In Risiko-Situationen neigen alle Safe-Heaven W\u00e4hrungen aufzuwerten (CHF, USD, JPY, eur).
\nDurch die Pr\u00e4sidentschaftswahlen in Frankreich – Macron hat gute Karten f\u00fcr eine zweite Amtsperiode – ist der Euro etwas defensiver; schlicht auch deswegen, weil die EZB ihre Geldpolitik nur z\u00f6gerlich strafft.
\nGanz anderst sieht es bei dem britischen Pfund aus: die W\u00e4hrung zeigt sich gegen\u00fcber dem Board als robust und behauptet sich gegen\u00fcber dem Euro souver\u00e4n @0.9250. Gegen\u00fcber dem All-Zeit Safe-Heaven Asset sFr. allerdings muss der GBP weiterhin nachgeben. Der Franken dominiert aber nicht nur den Pfund, sondern so gut wie das gesamte Foreign-Exchange Board. Da die britische Zentralbank weitaus Hawkisher ausgerichtet ist, als deren zwei Counterparts EZB und SNB, konnte in einem Risk-On Szenario der GBP gegen\u00fcber EUR und\/oder CHF outperformen.
\nWie in den beiden Charts zu sehen, sehe ich Verk\u00e4ufe nahe @0.9250 auf EURGBP (Buyond GBP) und taktische K\u00e4ufe auf GBPCHF nahe der unteren Bollinger-B\u00e4nder und des unteren Trendkanals. Beide Trades betrachte ich als Swingpoint-Trades, also auch als gro\u00dfen Carry-Trades f\u00fcr einen l\u00e4ngeren Zeitraum (Achtung Swaps!).

\n\nDie kanadische Zentralbank und die EZB ver\u00f6ffentlichen diese Woche ihre Leitzinsentscheidungen, wobei die BoC wahrscheinlich um 0.5 Basispunkte hiked. Der EURCAD d\u00fcrfte noch ein Weilchen unter Druck bleiben. Sub @1.35\/4 beginnen die Weekly-Bollinger-B\u00e4nder Violations!
\nMomentan ist jedoch die schroffe Abwertung der japanischen Leitw\u00e4hrung das markanteste Geschehen an den M\u00e4rkten. Wie lange kann ein solch schwacher JPY f\u00fcr Japan tragbar sein?\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n

\n\"English\"\nthe Japanese yen (JPY) is declining while the Nikkei is showing more of a risk-off behavior. In line to this point of view is seen that the Swiss franc is in high demand. In risky situations, all safe-heaven currencies tend to appreciate (CHF, USD, JPY, eur).
\nDue to the presidential elections in France – Macron has good cards for a second term in office – the euro is somewhat more defensive; also because the ECB is only reluctant to tighten its monetary policy.
\nThe situation is very different for the British pound: the currency is proving to be robust against the board and is asserting itself confidently against the euro @0.9250. Compared to the all-time safe-heaven asset sFr. however, the GBP must continue to weaken. However, the franc not only dominates the pound, but pretty much the entire Foreign Exchange Board. Since the British central bank is far more hawkish than its two counterparts, ECB and the SNB, the Pound could be able to outperform the EUR and\/or CHF in a risk-on scenario.
\nAs seen in the two charts, I see shorts near @0.9250 on EURGBP (Buyond GBP) and tactical Longs on GBPCHF near the lower Bollinger bands and lower trend channel. I regard both trades as swing point trades, i.e. also as large carry trades for a longer period of time (watch out for swaps!).

\nThe Bank of Canada and the ECB will release interest rate decisions this week, with the BoC likely to hike 0.5 basis points. Thus, EURCAD is likely to remain under pressure for a while. Sub @1.35\/4 marks the start of the Weekly Bollinger Bands Violation!
\nAt the moment, however, the sharp devaluation of the Japanese currency is the most striking event on the markets. How long can such a weak JPY be sustainable for Japan?\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
