Banking.senate.gov\/hearings\/06\/15\/2023\/the-semiannual-monetary-policy-report -to-the-congress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">banking.senate.gov \u2013 AUSSCHUSSANH\u00d6RUNG <\/a> fand am 2023-06-22 statt).\n<br>\nDer harsche Vorwurf der Senatorin <strong>Elizabeth Warren<\/strong>, Powell drehe kaltbl\u00fctig die Zinsschraube und riskiere so erbarmungslos die Arbeitslosigkeit vieler Millionen von U.S.-B\u00fcrgern, liegt in der Luft. Powell konnte sich einer Therorie-fernen Senatorin gegen\u00fcber nicht rechtfertigen und wirkte dadurch etwas barsch. Er gab sich zuvor alle M\u00fche, Zusammenh\u00e4nge zu erhellen und den progressive Willen der FED zu unterstreichen.\n<br>\nKlare Unterst\u00fctzung erh\u00e4lt Jerome aus Downunder-Australia, durch den RBA-Vorsitzenden <strong>Philip Lowe<\/strong>. Eingangs zu seiner Rede <strong>&#8218;A Narrow Path&#8216;<\/strong>, \u00e4u\u00dfert er keinerlei Scheu, das Mittel der Leitzinsen zur Bek\u00e4mpfung der Inflation einsetzen zu wollen. Die Notwendigkeit einer Preisstabilit\u00e4t sei dringende Voraussetzung zum Erhalt von Arbeitspl\u00e4tzen. Unable to justify himself to a non-economic senator, Powell came off as a bit harsh. Before that, he made every effort to clarify the whole context and to underline the progressive will of the FED.\n<br>\nJerome has clear support from downunder Australia as RBA chairman <strong>Philip Lowe<\/strong> kicks in with his &#8217;narrow path&#8216;. At the beginning of his speech <strong>&#8218;A Narrow Path&#8216;<\/strong>, he expressed readyness about wanting to use interest rates to fight inflation. The need for price stability is an urgent prerequisite for preserving jobs.
